Sultan |
Backstory:
One day, Idris, Astrid, and Circuit were coming back from exploring. They stopped in the woods to visit with Eos and were trying to catch some fish in the little pond in front of his cave. Suddenly, a strange wolf appeared to them. He appeared to be covered in leaves and grass and water, until they realized that’s exactly what he was. The wolf introduced himself as Sultan.
The four friends realized Sultan was ill, and asked him what was wrong. He confessed that he is a god of the rivers, hence his appearance. But as he is a god of the rivers, he also gets his vitality from them. Humans had been polluting too many rivers and he was growing weak because of this.
He was invited by Eos to come to Ephera and care for the rivers there, where there was no pollution. Sultan feared it was too good to be true, but followed the friends through the portal, blinking in surprise when they reached the other side. Almost immediately, the moss on his back became green again and the water was clear and blue. As the water cleared, it revealed two tiny fish in his tail.
Now, Sultan lives in the woods and rivers, caring for the trees and plants there and making sure the rivers stay clean and clear.
